Go Lightning McQueens!

This year's soccer season has ended for the Lightning McQueens. Sometimes they really looked like lightning(other times more like a circus). 7-1 was a pretty good record too, but as far as they know we tied every game. I was also very proud of Caleb. Last year he really couldn't stay focused on the game. He would play in the grass and roll around. This year he was a totally different player. He scored a total of four goals this season, including the last goal of the game today! I asked him how he felt after the game, he said he did his best and it felt good. He also said it was fun!

Caleb was so excited to get a trophy of his own. He has had one of Steve's old baseball trophies on his dresser for a couple of years because he wanted one. Now it has been replaced with his own shiny soccer one. (Luckily he put Steve's old trophy on my dresser so I can still see it!)

Lego Mania

(This is for you Matt, Thayne and Derek)

Recently Caleb and I found my brother's old legos. We found the instructions online and built this pirate ship back to its old glory.

It was pretty fun for me too, although it did take most of three days to complete. We had to search through two buckets of legos to find just the right parts. We were so excited when it was finished though.

The best part was that we spent quality time together. Now we have four more ships to complete and we'll have the whole fleet.

Soccer Star!

I have to admit, I love going to Caleb's soccer games. It is hilarious! The kids do the funniest things while they're playing, and the parents just laugh.

Today Caleb scored his first goal in a game. He was so excited! Right after he looked over at us to make sure we saw, then it was his turn to sit out. He ran over and yelled,"That was sooo cool!" We all laughed.

It's also fun to see Logan watching his big brother play. He cheers,"Go Caleb, he made it!" everytime he kicks the ball. He knows he can't play the game with them, but as soon as it's over he runs out and kicks the ball!

SOLD!

I must admit I have a good realtor. Our house sold today for full asking price! We feel very blessed to have sold in this tough market in a month and a half. Our buyer won't be coming until July, so we'll be able to stay here until then. Then we'll begin another adventure. Moving, always moving. I guess this is what I should expect being married to a realtor.
