On Thursday night one of Steve's clients invited us to go watch the Real Salt Lake pro soccer team play in St. George. It was an exhibition game with Real's reserve team vs. BYU. BYU men's soccer doesn't play in the NCAA they are so good they play reserves of professional teams.
It was a little cold that night, but better than the snow in Cedar.
We thought Caleb would enjoy it, now that he is playing soccer too.
This is our friend Danny who invited us. He used to play semi-professional soccer in England. It was good to have him there to explain everything. I guess there's a lot more to soccer than I thought.
Danny used to coach Real player #34 Steve Magleby, so we got to meet him. Doesn't Caleb look excited!

Dirt Digging

Well, Logan is definitely a boy. He sure loves dirt. Our dirt is pretty rocky and not so easy to dig in, but he spent a while out in it.
We're hoping in the next couple of weeks we have a yard with grass. I can't wait. It will make it much more fun to spend time outside.

Soccer

I guess you could say I'm a soccer mom now. I'm even the assistant coach. That's funny because I've never really even played soccer. It's sure fun though. The kids are so excited to be playing on a team for the first time. They are cute too.
The first game was hilarious. Kids were picking up the ball with their hands, running the wrong way and tripping over each other. The other team even scored a goal for us. The best part was that everyone was just having fun. Including the parents. No one ever even said who won the game. It is fun.
So far "The Alligators" are 0-1, but when I asked Caleb how he thought it went, he said their team did great, and he even kicked the ball a few times.

Las Vegas

Last weekend we went to Las Vegas with the kids. Steve was in the top 3 for National ERA Rookie of the Year. ERA paid for us to go down to Las Vegas and stay at the Mandalay Bay. The night of the awards Steve had to wear a tux and I wore my formal. It has been a long time since we've dressed up like that! Luckily we have some great friends who live down there. They watched our kids that night for us. Thanks Jason and Amy!
The kids love to go swimming whenever they get the chance.

Caleb wanted to go in the castle hotel "The Excaliber." He was amazed at all the games that grown ups were always playing. He had never seen so many games in his life and they weren't for kids. Darn.

Cute

Caleb and Logan really do like to play together. It's amazing the bond they have, being brothers.
Notice the cool 2002 Winter Olympics hat. I just had to have one when they were so popular.

Logan Walks

On the last day of February Logan finally decided to walk. He tries it all the time now. He still has a lot of practicing to do.
You can see here that he works best when bribed with food. Yummy graham crackers.
