Christmas Home Tour

I am not ready for christmas! It's Steve's fault. He entered one of his listings in a Christmas Home Tour and wanted me to decorate it. I admit I thought it would be fun, but it was a lot more stress than I expected. I also had a $0 budget. So thanks to my mom, sister, and Steve's mom, we had plenty of Christmas decorations. The bad part was that we had none at home.

The living room was my favorite. It made me want to sit down by the fire and read a book.

Luckily we found a new company in town that puts up your lights, takes them down and stores them for you. They did it free for some advertising. Here's a plug for them. They did an awesome job, so the outside of the house was done! If anyone wants their info let me know.
Overall it was fun, but way too much work. I will NEVER do it again at Christmastime. There are just too many other things going on.

What a beautiful home...love the inside and outside of it! Is this home in the new development, if not where??
You did a fabulous job, but I agree there is too much going on this time of year to take on something huge like that!
Like I've said before, there is a first and LAST time (at the same time) for some things ;)

that is awesome about the lights. I have everything else done... but no lights outside. I think I'll just put them away.
